    It seems that nothing is too difficult for those chunky little LEGO characters; in LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga (Sony PlayStation 3, 2007) they save the universe. This version of the LucasArts video game for PlayStation 3 (PS3) offers the complete Star Wars Saga in one game. The PlayStation games of Star Wars I and II have been combined into a sharper and shinier version of the famous saga. The plucky little LEGO characters fight their way through all of the episodes of Star Wars from the Prequel Trilogy through episodes like “The Phantom Menace” and “The Clone Wars”. The player will find new and exciting ways to move through the game in this PlayStation 3 (PS3) version and will discover new cheats along the way. A puzzle platform with multiple characters and secrets to unlock adds significantly to the playability of LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga. Thirty-six various story levels await players as they move through the game. A free-play mode allows the player to use the special attributes of each character to discover secret areas of the game. The action factor is high as the LEGO heroes blast their way to victory while protecting the innocent, as they take on their many enemies. The high-speed chase of the bounty hunter Zam Wessell in Episode II is a perfect example. The Force is always with the gutsy little characters as they move back and forth between levels or episodes as the player dictates. The player may choose from over 160 offered characters or he/she may choose to produce a new character with the embedded character creator. The player can discover cheats from other players or online, which makes the game even more engaging. Many video games, toys and accessories have been based on the Star Wars Saga, however the LEGO PlayStation version has universal appeal. It is among a decreasing number of games that the entire family can play together. The PlayStation game also has rewards; magical “studs” can be obtained when a challenge has been overcome. The PS3 version of the game allows “studs” to be used to buy items in the Cantina, or to unlock special characters that were not available in previous games. The LEGO Star Wars game transports the player to the space wars of the distant future, or was it the past? Multiple accessories, games and toys are available to enhance the players’ experience with this game. The LEGO Company always seems to know how to fuel a child’s fertile imagination with games and accessories.         Works like new!

        All the contents: The disc, booklet, and cover art, are basically in new condition. Its as though I went 10 years into the past to pick up this game from the store! My only minor, petty, complaint is that the game box’s bottom clamp has broken off. Although Its ok with me because I’m sure its seen a lot of action.

        Unplayable Levels

        Quick shipping, but unfortunately an entire episode of the game is inaccessible. It doesn't load, freezes the console, and has to be restarted. A few chapters lag a bit and have some weird sound problems, but that is expected of an old, used game. However it's disappointing to have a big chunk of the game unplayable. If not for that, this would have been a great deal.
