    Terrific product! Does everything I wanted it to do and more!

    The Breville immersion blender lives up to the reviews I read online before my purchase. It works perfectly. I have used it to cream soup in the pot, make smoothies with frozen fruit, and to make mayonnaise. It handles all of these with ease and the clean up is super simple. The blender itself is not small, but it fits very comfortably in my hand and is easy to use. I am very happy with my purchase. In fact, when I received the blender, my brother-in-law was so impressed with it that I turned around and ordered another one for him and my sister.

    A pain to clean and BIG but powerful

    Lots of bells and whistles and very powerful but it's a pain to clean. The design of the wand allows it to collect moisture inside if you immerse it or put it in the dishwasher and then you can't get it dry. I'm fairly certain it will collect in there and begin to smell at some point. And it's big and takes up a lot of space for all the parts. If you'll use all the various tools it comes with then it's for you. If you already have a food processor (in particular a mini one) then unless you're blending super thisck soups on a regular basis, a smaller less expensive model would do just fine. I wish I'd bought another plain old Cuisinart blender stick.

    Plenty of Power

    So easy to use , each part snaps on and off easily. Seems to have plenty of power. I used the blender attachment in a large pot of grapes to break them up for canning and it had no problem moving a quite large and heavy amount of mass. I gave this four stars because I've only used two of the attachments at this time.

    Very nice blender

    This was a great price, I think it was actually a Macy's returned item. Everything in the box. Works great, even lifting out the blades does not splatter and has minimal suction to the bottom. I had tried a Cuisenart and it sucked the blender cup tight. Very easy to operate, just squeeze the buttom.
