Recently a Bose 501 speaker system was donated to them. It sounded "buzzy." No wonder, as the foam surrounds for both speakers' woofers is nearly non-existant. This kit, which I'll install in the next few days, has everything including voice coil shims for centering I'll need. Much better than trying to "roll your own." I'm a very happy purchaser!
