    Does the job

    Bought it to power a Vox Lil' Looper, wasn't sure if it would work but does fine. Will also power an old Fishman GII pre-amp. Don't use either a lost but nice to have adapter so can take batteries out while they sit.

    9 volts for sure, but seems noisy and is not a regulated power supply.

    Not a regulated 9v power supply, as far as I can tell. Unregulated power supplies are less expensive, but can only supply power as clean as the available input power. Unregulated power supplies by their nature do not produce a clean (i.e. constant) voltage and may carry electrical noise. YMMV, but I found this D'Addario power supply was noisy when using it to power guitar effect pedals.

    Poor power supply.

    Item was a switching power supply which are not reliable because the high frequency square wave drive is hard on the capacitors. And if the caps are made in China, which is probably the case, then item will only have life span of about two years. Give me the 60/120 Hz type any day.

    Good for the price.

    This is a fine adaptor for most pedals. The cord is kind of flimsy and low quality, but it will be fine for the price. It's probably best for pedal board usage.
