      Fantastic book for DYI !

      I recently purchased this to do minor repairs and routine maintenance on my Sportster. The manual is easy to use with a great section on troubleshooting that is easy to follow and goes into nice detail. The maintenance section is clear and precise. It has both pictures and drawn diagrams to make any repair easier to accomplish. All in all, if you own a Sporty, you need this manual. It is going to save me time and money I would have spent on a mechanic. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT !!

      Good reference but could be further divided between carb vs efi models.

      Well written manual for the earlier year carburator models. Later model EFI (2007 on) sections not as informative and precise. All other aspects of Sportster architecture covered very well, just not very detailed on the later EFI models.

      Very easy to understand, step-by-step instructions are easy to follow, very well put together. Only issue is supplement part of the book is a little hard to navigate but this book still deserves 5 stars!

      A must have for the home mechanic

      If you own this bike and work on your bikes yourself, it’s always useful to have this. Even if you don’t know how to work on bikes, get a good service manual like this one and learn. Don’t go to the stealership. Especially a Harley dealership. They do good work, but even the smallest job will cost you an arm and a leg over there

      Absolute must have for backyard mechanics!

      I had a couple specific small issues with my 2006 sportster. I was able to look up quickly the area i needed and resolve the problems. Ive used Clymer manuals before for a quad and my Toyota truck. I swear by them!
