New life for an old iron
I bought my Oryx 50-3 back in 1975, when I was in high school. It's been used heavily ever since, often for several hours a day, and while the threads on the end are getting a little loose, it's still going strong. (I do have a spare.) However, the other day I was dismayed to find that I had run out of small tips. I looked on Ebay and found these, and they are exactly what I needed. I'd like to be able to say I'll be able to use this iron for another 45 years, but I'm wearing out faster than the iron is. I bought my Oryx 50-3 back in 1975, when I was in high school.
