Great, sturdy, double spatula. Good grip.
Great spatula! Very sturdy. I used it to turn over a grilled cheese and tomato sandwich, which has always slid apart in the skillet before. This spatula worked perfectly to grip the sandwich to flip it over and get it out of the pan without it falling apart. It worked perfectly. And you can open the spatula a little wider for a thicker sandwich. It does say to "hand wash" for best results. I decided to put it in the dishwasher anyway, since I plan on using it all the time. The dishwasher took off the shiny silver/chrome looking finish, which I didn't mind at all. It was worth it to be able to throw it in the dishwasher. Just know the dishwasher will turn it darker and non-shiny. Also, I separated it into two spatulas to wash it, and it was hard for me to get it back together ... Great spatula! Very sturdy. ALUMINUM will tarnish
I would have given this item 5 stars if it had been stainless steel. The aluminum was bright and shiny the first time I used the spatula, but after being inadvertently put in the dishwasher, they came out tarnished and a dull gray. The spatula itself is a wonderful tool. I just wish I had paid more attention to it's care. HANDWASH ONLY if you want them to retain their "silver" color.
