For Line 6 pod users
You need 9VAc with 2A or higher current rating. I have powered up a pod xt with 9Vac PS with 1A, which was good enough for testing it(it won’t damage the unit), but it will not carry enough current to fully operate the pod. It will eventually shut down or do some hiccups. NEVER us a 9V DC center negative on a Pod. I believe you could use 9VDC adapter with center positive on the M9/13(these meant to take 9VAC as well) but yet again, they need 2A in order to supply the required current. These unit are A power hogs indeed..no dc batteries can power these beasts, so naturally, they are meant to be used with an AC power through a transformer. And yes, these transformers are some of the most HEAVY ones that I have in my collection ( and I have few dozens of them ..3, 5,6, 7, 9, 11, 11,14, 15, ...
