This is the proper charger for a 2006 Goldwing. The connection for it is under the left side cubby. The wire connector is in a black rubber splash guard toward the front.

    Great Produck, But

    This item is a milestone on every Gold Wing I’ve owned (6). It allows charging of small electronics like phone or music player. If you plan to use this in conjunction with the auxiliary input cable you will get alternator noise through the input.

    Went in great

    Seldom do I come across an install that goes as well as they say it will. This is the exception. I had absolutely no issues what so ever. I would be surprised if it took me more than 10 minutes to complete the process.
