Kind of a bizarre transaction. Days after purchasing I got a note saying that it was going to be shipped but if I wanted to pay more I could have it expedited. I chose not to and just wait. A few weeks went by and I asked for tracking information. Got another offer to pay more to expedite the shipping. I declined. The package showed up the very next day, although it wasn't packed very well. Very odd. In the end I got the advertised item at a good price, so can't complain too much.

    A very nice product at a very reasonable price.

    I am new to the SLR world, and I wanted a flash that is more flexible than the built-in one, yet reasonably priced. The Di 466 seems to fill the bill nicely. I think of it as having features between the SB-400 and SB-700 for Nikon cameras; great for newbies like me. I found the Nissin flash to be very well made and easy to use. Having said that, the only problems I am having are self-imposed; that is, I need to practice more and get better at using it for more consistent results from picture to picture. I would definitely recommend this product for people with the same needs as mine.

    This model is the best choice for $100, for beginning

    Recently bought this flash for $100. Waited about a month of delivery to Russia. Received intact. The first thing that I liked - quality plastic. It is very good, pleasant to the touch and feels very solid. Not expect from such a cheap flash. Interaction with my Nikon D5100 is good, there are no conflicts between them, and there was no misunderstanding. The flash can illuminate autofocus and understand when it is necessary to do, and when not. Specifically took the index N, hoped for the best interaction with the camera, but how it is justified, do not know, because it does not compare. Overpaid $5-10 for N index and reduce the risk, I think it was a good decision. At the expense of the flash to say nothing much I can not work like a normal flash, as it should work. I think this model is ...

    Still learning...

    This is the first flash I have used in some time. It works well with my Nikon D5100 - just need more time to use it before I give my final judgement.
