The tube arrived in good condition looking exactly like the picture, it was well packaged. I am using it as a backup for the Volvo pinched waist blue print 6201 when it dies in my phono preamp. A good tube will make a world of difference in your sound. This white print 6201 Gabl should sound pretty close and was more affordable- My EAR 837P modded with better coupling caps and shielding was designed for 12AX7 tube but sounds better with 12AT7 versions in the right spot.
