About this product

Product Information

Turok: Rage Wars picks up where the deathmatch levels in Turok 2 left off. Although this game offers a single player option, the game's 36 different arenas are targeted at the deathmatch crowd. For instance, the game helps you back up your bragging (or fragging?) rights by allowing each player to save individualized statistics.<br><br>Sporting an optimized version of the Turok engine, Turok: Rage Wars adds a number of new weapons and power-ups to the Turok universe, from the relatively mild boomerang to the wild chest burster (which implants an alien embryo into your opponent... the name of the weapon should give you a clue as to what happens next!)<br><br>The game delivers its multiplayer action in four different modes: Bloodlust, Frag Tag, Team Bloodlust, and Capture the Flag. In Bloodlust, the object is to rack up the most kills. In Frag Tag, three of the players try to kill the player who is currently "it." Team Bloodlust allows a mix of computer and human players to duke it out in deathmatch teams. Finally, in Capture the Flag the object is to get the flag and bring it back to a base more times than the opposition.<br><br>Single-player and two-player quest modes are used to unlock a total of 17 characters. A single player may also play the multiplayer modes against computer opponents.

This seller is one of the best I've had the pleasure of purchasing from! Great communication, very responsive, professional and approachable. The card was packaged with top care and you could have ran over it with a truck and it'd have been mint. The condition of the card was immaculate. On top of all this, the seller worked out a deal on another product and held to price despite shipping separately. Super kind and generous. Buy from a source you can trust, and gameprospector13 is this 100%!!!

    Great game for decent price

This is a very fun multiplayer game for the N64, certainly the best of the Turok series for multiplayer. The story mode is good also and it's fun to play together with a fiend. ONE SMALL NOTE is that the story/campaign/main game cannot be completed with two players. There is a glitch on one of the last stages that freezes the game. Acclaim released a gray cartridge with the bug fixed but, these are rare and more expensive if you find one. Over all a great game and compliment to the Turok N64 series

    Fun with Friends

Game is a good multiplayer experience but does not have much in the way of a single player experience. Plays just like any other Turok game but without a campaign

  • "A game that focuses completely on multiplayer"

"A game that focuses completely on multiplayer" I believe this game is suppose to be a kind of spin off from Turok 2: Seeds Of Evil, but for some reason this game just lacks something. I am not sure exactly what it is, though. There is just something to it that does not make me want to come back to it. Graphics: 8/10 The graphics are good as long as you have an expansion pack for your Nintendo 64. This allows the game play nice and smooth. Without it, this game just isn't as great. I would have to say that you defiantly need an expansion pack for your Nintendo 64 to be playing this game. Gameplay: 8/10 The gameplay is all right. You have the classic Turok style of playing. Also the controls are not too hard. Sometimes it is strange to do things, and some things don't seem ...

  • turok rage wars

for what it is, turok rage wars is a blast. it's got no true single player mode but it was designed to be a multiplayer game from the ground up. the graphics were decent for its time however the levels themselves are a tad too dim. this can be corrected by changing brightness however. moreover the levels are not well designed, at least some of them seem that way. the single player trials allow you to unlock different characters and the multiplayer is afrag fest. the game is shy of perfect darks' greatness mostly due to bot retardation at times.

  • Cool. Works great! Speedy delivery

I got it because it was the first game I'd ever gotten when I bought my n64. I traded it to one of my friends and... he moved away so I was never able to play it again. Turok was my childhood hero! I loved how he went about using big guns to kill even bigger monsters! Uwaah! My childhood memories!
