These are tested for low noise and mu to work well with commercial phono and mic preamps. Gm is typically within 10% tolerance in the same date/lot. No lengthy burn-in stabilization or curve matching was done, so these may not be ideal for a differential amp where it's important. As far as I’m aware no commercial equipment maker uses the D3A in that application, although maybe they should!
