The added Teflon tape and rubber seal were great additions for an easy installation. Before installing the shower filter, I decided to open up the cannister to find out the type of filter. It took quite a long time of struggle before I could unscrew the cap. Also, the filter was very hard to remove because the O-ring was very dry. Before reassembling the cannister, a small amount of silicone grease was applied to the threads and O-rings.
