Quality Product that works well for me
Saddles are VERY personal - so what one person raves about another will trash. Even though I'm riding this Avant and have for MANY (have a couple - other bikes) miles, there's probably another Saddle out there that would work even better. I've tried many that failed the test. My comments will focus on the Product vs Riding it. It starts with the authentic leather smell when you open the box. The Italian craftsmanship is quickly evident and I have not had any workmanship failures at all. I chose the Avant to match my sit bone profile / width and to provide extended comfort during longer rides. The center channel / cutout was another feature I wanted and works well. Avant has a slight rise toward the rear of the saddle which provides a support / brace point when in the drops to help ... Saddles are VERY personal - so what one person raves about another will trash.
