    DON'T BE FOOLED

    Connie Francis, like many of her peers went into the studio and re-recorded her hits. This 1989 Malaco 2 disc session has been issued under so many guises that it is hard to ascertain what you may be getting unless you read the track listing carefully. Here's a clue. If you see a package such as this that contains hits by other people, not made popular by her, that is a good sign that the CD is NOT the original releases. When Connie remake these recordings, the sound quality was of course, far superior, but she was ill at the time and her voice was a serious setback. Of all the tracks she recorded, she was only able to pull a few off (several were not her hits). If you are looking for her original hit recordings, avoid this one. You will be disappointed.
