Great sound and comfort. Sub-par microphone.
I have used these since 2013. I have went through 4 or 5 pair since. Not that the quality is inferior, I am very hard on a pair of headphones. I wear them everyday. I use them for my motorcycle. I use a Sena 20s. They use the old school jack because my phone has the Bluetooth slot, so I am dependent on the jack to use them for my need in the helmet. I have extremely loud pipes on the bike. Even with that because of the design of the ear piece I am able to enjoy concert fidelity sound through these. With the amp boost offered by the Sena the volume exceeds even my exhaust plus added protection from wind noise. Now for the bad part. The microphone provided is sub-par. Not the quality I would expect from Bose. They have virtually zero no canceling I use them for my phone, many tell me to get ... I have used these since 2013. I have went through 4 or 5 pair since. Good deal for me but disappointed honestly
Sound is typical excellent Bose but you have to put the earbuds pretty far into the ear for the best quality and although it sounds good and blocks out a lot of other noises really well, I find it uncomfortable for even a 5 mile workout frankly. I also miss the little sliding piece of plastic that lets you cinch the wires closer to your bottom of chin. These don't have that option so I have scotch tape doing the job instead. The worst part and most disappointing though is that you can hear the sounds of your body too well and it conflicts with the music. I hear my heart beat thumping and I have to play it really loud to overcome that. Speaking of loud, these have terrible abilities if you like louder music. Its very limiting. I don't have an issue with that but a younger hard rocker dude ... Ultra Sound True II Headphones
Very good sound quality headphones at a reasonable price. Great for listening to music or the radio while on the bus. They don't reduce outside noise completely, but do reduce it to the point where it doesn't interfere with the listening experience. Natural sound quality, no high bass.

My go-to earbud: great sound with balanced frequency response, comfortable enough to wear all day long.
I also own other pretty high-end earbuds that I thought were great...till I bought the Bose (Klipsch S-4 and hifiman re-400).. The bose have the most balanced sound, and by far fit the best and are the most comfortable. Worth every penny. I own 4 of them.
