A fantistic anniversary blu ray edition of Ben Hur in beautiful shape.
Fantastic edition! Like new! Came quickly and I am incredibly happy I purchased this. The blu ray image is amazing and also love the additions (including the silent version of the film made at the end of the 1920s with original color tints (and a terrific new score that is so much better than the irritating organ music that is usually played with the silent version) Other additions - particularly a 2005 documentary with some wonderful interviews that are terrific.Fantastic edition! This is a must have for classic movie fans who have Blu ray!
This is what the best of Hollywood and blu ray is all about, is to see how the film really looked like when it was first showed in the theaters back in it's time.And with Blu ray it's just the best way to present it especially with an epic like "Ben Hur" which is a big budget film and unfortunately they don't do movies like this in these days anymore with quality actors in them and that's why you need a copy of this movie if you're a fan of Hollywood classics cause you get to see the film the way they were supposed to be seen and not on VHS or not even dvd do justice on an epic like this and here is where blu ray comes in and even better if you have a big screen HD flat panel because is presented on 70 mm film and it helps to see this on a much bigger screen and not on a small screen ...
