The vise has sharp edges. The packaging was split on one corner causing a chip on the corner of the vise -accepted as minor. The slots on the bottom are poor. One was apparently cut with a dull tool and is tapered.. The holes in that slot are not centered and off .060," rendered that slot unusable. Kraft paper found under one jaw. The handle would fit the screw because of finning and also metal spatter which had to removed. Complete inspection not complete. Neutral evaluation is based on

ups damaged the box that chuck & backplate were in , backplate fell out and ups taped up hole.when delivered ,no backplate called cme tools and spoke to Jerry who understood the problem, he shipped a backplate that day and i had it in hand 2 days later. thats the best service one could ever ask for. there tool selection is second to none,look foreward to doing future purchases, thank you
