I was impressed by this units' aerodynamic design. As opposed to just sticking a fan inside of a tube, this device has specifically placed baffles to augment efficient airflow characteristics. This fan, and all of the others that I have researched, base their output CFM,s on zero static pressure. In other words, when placed in a duct, the resistance of the duct, (static pressure), dependent upon the size & length of the duct, creates resistance. This unit is also relatively quiet.
