    if it works, is ok...

    X10 technology is antiquated and uses power line carrier to signal. if there is any type of noise on the house wiring, it interferes with this system. I fought with one for years, and finally pitched it for real wireless devices. However, if it works, it is somewhat reliable. in this case, i just have one device attached to this receiver and they are on the same room circuity so it works. but i would never use for any type of dependable remote control...

    Replacement part didn't work for me.

    Great product when it was new. I bought x10 20 +- years ago worked great. After that long the transceiver broke. I bought a new one from eBay and it doesn't work. I don't know if it's bad or my other 3 receiver units are. Bottom line is it was great for a long time. More likely outdated now.

    TRIED AND TRUE CONTROL SYSTEM...
