Rayman Origins
I have never played any of the older Rayman games but after playing this one I have to. This game is awesome and it gives you the feel of those old classic games like Mario and Donkey Kong. I'm not familiar with the characters so I'm not really sure what the story is about outside of Rayman and his friends being too noisy for the people who look like zombies and they want to attack Rayman and his friends, that's what I understand so far and that they get captured and have to escape. The gameplay is great, so far what I get of the story it is great, the animation/graphics are great. This is a fun game. If you have not played this game then I recommend you do. Fun to play alone or with a friend, replay = high, Art & Music are superb!
I bought Rayman Origins because I love side scroll adventure games. And Rayman Origins does not disappoint! If you have ever played NEW Super Mario Brothers WII it plays similar to that BUT with a few (in my opinion) better game play tweaks. First of all in two player mode you can "bubble" one of the characters if they get left behind or "die". Which is akin to NSMB except you the player can actually control where your character floats to. Where in SNMB the AI did that for you, which was very annoying. Secondly there is no character collision like in NSMB. This means you can both jump in Rayman Origins and not bump into each other causing unnecessary frustration. Other factors I enjoy about Rayman Orgins are: 1 Replay value is moderately high, because there are ... I bought Rayman Origins because I love side scroll adventure games. This provides and extra form of entertainment for anyone playing. 4 It plays essentially the same on both consoles, so buy on which ever you own or play more often on.

The perfect game for when you need a break from going on a first person rampage. Rayman games have always had trippy characters and game play and Origins follows right along in that respect. This is a refreshing game to have in your collection and it's great to play with friends - considering it has the ability for up to three additional players to jump in and out of co-op play at any point. It's hard to compare this to other games in my collection because it is truely unique, but I am very glad I decided to pick up a copy.The perfect game for when you need a break from going on a first person rampage.
