About this product

Product Information

Joel Schumacher (8 MM, FALLING DOWN) directs this suspense drama set in New York City's Times Square. A wannabe hotshot entertainment publicist who's more intent on posturing for his unpaid assistant than he is in actually working, Stu Shepherd (Colin Farrell) ducks into a phone booth to make his regular afternoon call to his girlfriend (Katie Holmes). Stu stops in the same phone booth at the same time every day to flirt with the young girl, who does not know that Stu is happily married with no intention of dating her seriously. When Stu says goodbye to his girl and sets down the receiver, he picks up a call from a threateningly sarcastic man with a deep voice. This man seems to have been tracking Stu's visits to this booth every day, and suddenly Stu knows that his secrets are no longer his own. Soon, the caller identifies himself as a sniper and begins shooting. Police are called in, and Stu must use his PR skills in a final test to get out of the booth, alive. This compelling drama, expertly crafted for maximum tension, will keep audiences nervously awaiting its outcome, unable to look away from the screen for even a moment.

The disc was unfortunately cracked in half in transit (as Canada Post tends to handle packages like this very roughly), but the seller promptly issued a refund alongside discussing better shipping options for future purchases. The price was definitely right for this game, but I'd highly recommend other buyers opt for the 25 cent bubble mailer shipping upgrade!

Nice seller and the controller matches the description! Accidentally didn't include the USB cable to charge it but they admitted it before the item arrived and shipped a second package for it.

  • Exciting movie... simple story, great execution

I first watched this movie in a hotel room while trying to go to sleep, but I could not allow my eyes to close before the plot was resolved! The gem of this film is Kiefer Sutherland's Bad Guy character. With help from Forrest Whittaker, he makes the supporting roles stand out as they help Colin Farrell escape the phone booth with his life and sanity. Farrell's wife, Katie Holmes, is not only attractive, but she also must figure out the reasons for the chaos and violence that unfolds on the New York City sidewalk. Give it a try!

  • Big waste of my time

This was a big waste of time that I’ll never get back. Much like you’d suspect from the title, the movie takes place around the phone booth, but there’s only so much that you can do with that. Before long, you’re like, “okay, I get it. You’re in a phone booth with a scary guy on the other end, what now?”. There were just too many times when I felt Colin Farrell’s character could have done something more than he did. The fact that he didn’t just got old and although the movie was short, it seemed like it went on longer than it should have. Don’t even get me started on how bad Colin Farrell’s acting was.
