Small but packs a BIG punch.
This is a great, compact unit. The presets sound pretty good overall and I did find it easy to tweak the ones I wanted to suit me. It is also very intuitive to use. Do a quick look at the manual or online videos and then go have fun. I found quite a few presets that are very sweet which is rare with units like this, and I've tried many of them. If you need an easy to use great sounding unit like this don't hesitate.This is a great, compact unit. As with any Multi-effect/Processor I've tried over 40 years, I HATED this unit's sounds AT FIRST!. It is really AWESOME, once you understand the operation, effects, etc. Sound quality is the BEST I've ever used. Shut all the effects down and start from scratch with an amp model, then add what you want. I'm primarily Classical/Jazz player so need a pure, clean sound to start. The HRGB really has the cleanest, clearest signal path I've ever heard. Compare it to TC or Eventide. I have had numerous far more expensive amp simulators and I really like the gig board , it’s easy to use , it takes a while to dial something in that works for you, but when you do it’s magic . Sounds great through a PA .. I set it up to have three different complete rigs and toggle between them awesome!! It took me some time to dial in what I was looking for. recently the soundman for greenday and other high end bands couldnt believe how great it sounded , no BSI have had numerous far more expensive amp simulators and I really like the gig board , it’s easy to use , it takes a while to dial something in that works for you, but when you do it’s magic . Great sounds in a convenient size
I've been using this for a few months now, and it's been a blast. I play jazz, and the gigboard has given all the ampy/slightly crunchy/clean sounds that I've wanted. I've been playing with the Headrush FRFR and I've been more than satisfied. Even the looper has been really useful, I've been using it for comping to myself, and it's really fun. Overall, I would by this again in a heartbeat.
