Kind of a bizarre transaction. Days after purchasing I got a note saying that it was going to be shipped but if I wanted to pay more I could have it expedited. I chose not to and just wait. A few weeks went by and I asked for tracking information. Got another offer to pay more to expedite the shipping. I declined. The package showed up the very next day, although it wasn't packed very well. Very odd. In the end I got the advertised item at a good price, so can't complain too much.

How much was that Mixer...
...too much money for it to NOT have an On/Off switch on the microphone! The solution was this, cheap as chips even from the good ole U S of A and perfect for the job. Need one? Get one!...and Pioneer.....TAKE NOTE!

Good quality and does the job of providing an on -off switch for my mic However, this thing is very big and heavy making it difficult if not impossible to easily attach to a confortable and convenient spot on your clothes or ? I believe this switch could be redesigned with 1/2 the length and weight Then it would be a great 4 star accessory to have

Hosa makes great quality accessories. This mic switch is a great addition to any mic; dynamic or phantom powered. It may not be recommended for phantom powered devices, but I use one in church and have no problems. I recently purchased another one for a totally different reason. My church has the main sound system downstairs but has a sub-mixer in the loft for the choir. One balanced line connects the two and I needed a way to use the monitor mix and turn off the church. This switch does the job. It is good quality and reasonably priced. Hosa makes great quality accessories. This mic switch is a great addition to any mic; dynamic or phantom powered. It may not be recommended for phantom powered devices, but I use one in church and have no problems. I recently purchased another one for a totally different reason. Too bulky and loose.
It's too large and bulky. I purchased this item to use it with the SM58, but It doesn't have a tight fit. Once is plugged into the mic input, It's somewhat loose. Also, it looks and feels too large. I don't plan to use it.
