Kind of a bizarre transaction. Days after purchasing I got a note saying that it was going to be shipped but if I wanted to pay more I could have it expedited. I chose not to and just wait. A few weeks went by and I asked for tracking information. Got another offer to pay more to expedite the shipping. I declined. The package showed up the very next day, although it wasn't packed very well. Very odd. In the end I got the advertised item at a good price, so can't complain too much.

My third of this great camera
This is the third Leica V-LUX 30 that I have owned the first two were used as primary cameras for my professional street photography. That role is being very well filled by my Leica CLUX. My plan was to send in my VLUX in for a refurbishment and use it as a backup camera, but when I saw the opportunity to buy a mint condition one for $275 I took a chance on it and was not disappointed, I have also managed to sell my old one for $150. So I get a like new VLUX-30 for net of $125. This is wonderful!! 16:1 Zoom lens great color and black and white 14.1MP with HD Video and if fits nicely in my shirt pocket. Sharp focus, shoots in very low light, quality is outstanding
This is a second Leica camera I buy. I have others but this one is particularly excellent to carry all the time. Definition and functions are handy, it weighs practically nothing and the Leica quality make it a very useful tool. I have top of the line other cameras, but this is just right for everyday photos and movies.

Leica quality
Great point-and-shoot camera from Leica, with all the quality one would expect from this top-notch manufacturer. Great lens, super zoom, built-in flash which is not harsh, and great video. No hot-shoe for external flash, but that is not a big problem for me. Downgraded to four stars on value because it is virtually the same camera as the Panasonic ZS-15, which costs less.
