    Solid choice for a point and shoot

    I have used this camera for housing photography since it's debut in 2009. It is a reliable workhorse that takes crisp pictures in many different light levels, including dusk. I just purchased my third one after ten years, so the other two have an average life of about five years, before component failure through normal wear and tear. It is easy to use, the menus are easy to navigate, and it is water and dust proof.

    Over all it is a good enough camera for field trips.

    First, very good looking design. A little small for those big-hands people to use. No LED protection is a short cut. To the camera itself, it performs OK, but sometimes if you don't use the flash light, the image will looks terrible. Maybe it is because the photograghic chip is not that sensitive. So watch your lights when you use it. Menu is been designed not so easy to use, like when close-up or manual flash is needed, you need many steps to change the setting. Not a big problem, but kind of inconvenient.

    Excellent Camera with time-lapse shooting

    I bought this camera because it had time-lapse shooting. Although I wanted it to take pictures for 8 hrs. It only allows me to take for 30 minutes then after the 30 minutes I have to set up again which I sometimes forget and that kinda ruins my time-lapse movies. The quality of the pictures are of excellent quality. I use it outside where there is constant dust and it was also exposed to rain and the camera still works great. I also like the fact that it is small and slim.

    Very good looking design. Slim light weight. The quality of the pictures are of excellent quality. Take a pictures all the day. Long life battery. water proof. shock resistant. dust resistant. I take it every day and connect to computer upload pictures to My facebook every day for share my life between my girlfriend. ^_^

    Human Proof Camera

    How many times have you bought a nice new camera and then a little water gets on it and it rouined, or the ejecting lens get stuck. i was tired of that happening to me so i got a camera i can literaly drop in the ocean and its fine. Thais thing is built for regular people taking pictures of regular stuff. Dont think its just for SCUBA diver and rock climbers. its built to withstand the impact humans put on their cameras daily.
