Kind of a bizarre transaction. Days after purchasing I got a note saying that it was going to be shipped but if I wanted to pay more I could have it expedited. I chose not to and just wait. A few weeks went by and I asked for tracking information. Got another offer to pay more to expedite the shipping. I declined. The package showed up the very next day, although it wasn't packed very well. Very odd. In the end I got the advertised item at a good price, so can't complain too much.

    Handy Kettle

    This thing was expensive, but it's a very handy kettle: Most kettles I've seen don't pour water out without spilling, the spouts are clumsily designed. This kettle pours precisely & gracefully, doesn't spill & splash. It's easy to handle, the bakelite grip doesn't ususally get too hot, & it holds enough water to fill a pretty big teapot. I'm very pleased with the way it handles & heats quickly. It was expensive, but I am quite satisfied anyway.
