Simple easy connect ! Must press factory reset when hooked up ornit will limit you to using 2 devices at a time, once pressed and rebooted it allows unlimited devices.

Easy setup and works great with Comcast/Xfinity
After a lot of research I decided to go with the Arris 6580-2 and I am happy I did. This unit works excellent with Comcast/Xfinity and easily runs through the setup procedure. The only thing I don't care for is you have to choose to either run 2.4GHZ or 5GHz, you can run them at the same time. Other than that no complaints at all. I have Xfinity PERFORMANCE PLUS 60Mbps and through wifi I am seeing 42-46Mbps and with ethernet I am seeing 60-70Mbps You cannot beat this for the price and very stable performance. After a lot of research I decided to go with the Arris 6580-2 and I am happy I did. This unit works excellent with Comcast/Xfinity and easily runs through the setup procedure. Cheap, easy to set up, average performance
Easy to set up. Just reset to default pushing the button for more than 10 seconds. Negatives: no simultaneous dual band ability. Good wireless speed. Range seems mediocre. Advantage - cheap if used. In our case delivery of the ISP modem could not be provided on time to specified address and frequent long term travel - so paying for rental router does not make sense.
