It's good
a family member of mine bought it for me, i opened it out of the anti-static packaging only to find out a few of the pins were bent. So i ever so carefully took a flathead screwdriver and bent them back. It's working just fine. It's features according to cnet are: Load/unload technology, NoiseGuard, SilentSeek technology, Perpendicular Recording and S.M.A.R.T. has an average seek speed of 12 ms, a external disk transfer rate of 100 MBps.a family member of mine bought it for me, i opened it out of the anti-static packaging only to find out a few of the pins were bent. Quiet, Reliable, Solid and Great Price!!
It's getting harder to find IDE HDDs these days. I am still using Windows XP Pro PC as a small server. So this replacement IDE HDD is a great choice. It's very quiet and running 24 hours and every day without any hick-ups. Great HDD!
