    So what the heck happened???.....NO Communication....All I asked for was a Tracking number...3 days after purchase!......I sent that over the weekend....I woke up today and ALL I see is a REFUND.....I wanted the item I ordered, and this is all that I got!     Food Saver

    I have one of these already. My son and his sons all fish every time they can. My son hunts Deer and Elk every hunting season and said he needs one of these to seal his meat products properly! So; for Christmas this year, Mom decided its time to get him one along with a EXTRA HUGE BOX OF BAGS!! 👍😃. I know he will love it as much as I love mine! ❤️

    bad design.

    the separate "making Bags" feature is great. The actual "vacuum seal" feature design is not designed well in my opinion. You have to use 2 hands to hold the filled bag in the proper position for vac/sealing so you can not easily press the actuating switch. Also you need to position something in front of the unit to help support the filled bag in order to keep the edges of the open bag closed prior to the completion of the vac/sealing process. Just my opinion but I don't like the overall design of this unit.

    Good and the Bad

    I have used the older 3000 series food saver for years. This new food saver makes it much easier to cut and seal the bottom of the bag since the sealer is low to the counter where the cutter is. What i hate is it requires both thumbs to start the machine and we have to physically push the sealing door closed as it does not have enough spring pressure to create a starting seal. Overall I think the older model is more reliable. The area where one stores the rolls is too small for the larger rolls so you have to reduce the roll size by 50% to fit. The older machine fits the large rolls
