    Good vise for the price

    This vise is of good quality and will do the job for the average hobbyist/ home shop. I don't think it would work very well for a high precision machine shop. The surfaces seem to be machined very well and the vise closes square. Sits on my mill table very flat with no rocking. I have not put a dial indicator on it to see if it is parallel with the table. I do not require high precision for my intended use. Overall I think it is a good value.
