    Difficult

    After the interview and then the first sequence, the yoga poses seem difficult for a beginner--lifting torso of the ground in a back bend etc. Seems like yoga for the experienced. I do like the breathing instructions and this video is beautifully filmed.

    very good beginners yoga dvd

    The instruction on the video is the best Ive found so far, and I have bought a lot of workout tapes and DVDs. Her voice is easy to listen to, the instructions are very clear and easy to follow, and the pace is perfect. I've had other beginner programs and this is the first one Im sticking with. The Getting Started routines have been a good starting point. The Sun Salutation is my favorite right now. This beginner version gives you modifications and moves at a good learning pace. With so many routines on this DVD, I know I'll be using it for a long time

    My favorite yoga DVD

    I love this DVD - this is so easy to use, directions are clear and there is plenty of focus on breathing - very helpful information. There are enough different 25 to 30 minute workouts to keep you from getting bored. I love the background, it's shot at a beach, and the sound of the lapping waves is very relaxing. I do hot yoga at the gym, but when I want something more relaxing I always come back to this DVD.

    Yoga for Beginners is a good beginning.

    I just recently decided to take up yoga as a way to relieve stress and stay in shape. I bought this dvd and have been very pleased with it. It allows you to select from an incredible number of routines varying in length, difficulty and focus area. I love this because it allows you to tailor the program to suit your needs and the dvd is very peaceful. With so many options, you'll never get bored with your routines, because you can change them every day. I highly recommend this dvd for anyone getting started with yoga.

    Awesome exercise dvd for an invigorating exercise or a nice cool down :)

    I love this DVD. I have been using it for several years. This dvd is good for both beginners and advanced. It has very explicit directions. The video is very calm, with waves lapping in on the beach in the background. I really appreciate that factor because many yoga videos are "Fitness" yoga videos that are really fast-paced and frantic. I would recommend it to everyone!!
