    Original and gorgeous Silkstone doll

    This doll is the most elegant doll in the first year's releases of the Barbie Fashion Model Collection. She set the standard for the entire collection. The gown is made from the finest materials and has the finest workmanship I have ever seen. Her head has turned a little gray on all the dolls I have seen but it is not too noticeable. Absolutely gorgeous and a real star in any collection.

    Delphine is Divine

    I've always thought of this doll as a dream, something untouchable because I couldn't afford to purchase her when she debuted. But 12 years later, I'm OK with it, the wait was totally worth it! I purchased Delphine because she was the first "big-gown" BFMC doll, I wanted to start off with her and work my way up. I managed to acquire her for a decent price as well, so the wait was definitely worth it. Delphine has a softer face, with pale pastel makeup, much softer than the BFMC collection today. Her gown is complicated but true to the work of designers of couture and evening-wear. I noticed the flowers on her hip struggle against the weight of the gown draped over her arms a bit, so much that the flowers could potentially come undone in some time. Try to display ...

    Couture vintage barbie for less than $160

    A staple in any silkstone collection! The gown is just stunning, and the pose is well thought out and purposeful; her right arm is bent and her hand sits perfectly on the drape of the sash on the dress, holding it in place while the left arm supports the oversized fabric bow so that it stands up instead of flopping over. Posing one leg in front of the other brings out the frontmost panel of the mermaid dress beautifully. The only issue with the doll is a production problem; her face is discolored due to a pigment and material issue that they had not yet considered this early into the line.

Su progetto del fashion designer Robert Best. *una Barbie silkstone ha due caratteristiche fondamentali che la distinguano dalle altre: -il materiale e' più pesante rispetto al normale vinile, ma che al tatto si presenta delicato e vellutato come la pelle. -l'aspetto, ricorda lo stile vintage delle prime barbie. Ma in chiave moderna e dettagliata. Ogni silkstone e' un connubio perfetto di bellezza, eleganza, sofisticata beltà, accuratezza del dettaglio make-up e tessile. Per tutti i motivi descritti, ho acquistato tale prodotto.

    Everything was specified to my liking and no dissapointment...

    I bought the product because Im a fan of the silkstone barbies, even thought the doll was nude ,,, I still bid on her because I had a plan of designing an outfit just for her.. I like everything about her ,,Im into the look of hollywood past and she fits the perfect look..Plus I got her for a song.. There are no dislike with this doll,,, She is gorgeous and went well with the designed outfit... I'll say as far as comparison within other dolls I have to say she is in the top 10.....
