    Great book about freedom

    fun story and great moral. Good word play. "minor classic". Children have trouble deciding to be different from peers, and thi story helps with that.

    Freaked out my daughter - but I like it

    The girl has stripes and other patterns on her skin, then she turns into things (a creature, a house) and the images scared my 5 year old daughter a little. She was fine when we read it but later said she kept thinking about it and it was scary. She is very sensitive and easy to scare though, I liked the story and I think many kids would enjoy it.
