Arrived on time, undamaged. Uses toroidal transformer. Two 12AWG aluminum equal-turn windings are connected in series. One is supplied with 120v and the total series voltage is 240v (in my case). Total impedance (including core losses): 0.71Ohm. Tested with ~1460VA through both windings, equivalent to stepping up or down ~2920VA. Got somewhat warm after 20 mins testing. I would not trust it for 5000VA continuous - especially with fusing, wire, and switch. But overall pretty good for $90.

Listed for a really great price + $0 shipping then almost instantly cancels my order with, "We have just informed by our courier, they said that they can't send the item to your address, they have no service in that area now," (see attached photo).
Have seen this same excuse reported in negative feedback from other potential buyers. Appears to be a pattern with this seller. eBay should investigate & ban scammers like this.
I accepted & received an immediate refund. Waste of time.
