Outstanding DVD/CD combo for Clapton fans
I happened to see parts of this video on the TV and since I'n a huge fan of Doyle Bramhall, Nathan East, Billy Preston, Stainton, and Gadd, along with Clapton, I immediately bought it. The only disappointment was that it didn't last twice as long. This is a great DVD (comes with matching CD)which is taped at different locations. There are 4 sessions, 2 with everyone, 1 with Clapton and Bramhall and last just Clapton. Plus there are a couple of short bonus scenes. Excellent documentary!
Although a legend, Clapton has never really done it for me. I saw about 10 minutes of this on TV and had to see the rest. Gotta say, it really delivered. His take on classic Robert Johnson is outstanding, enough said. Forget the other poor reviews, Clapton can do what he wants, he certainly had earned that right.

Great!
I bought this because I saw bits and pieces of it on TV, and all of it is fantastic. There's a lot of songs that he and a full band perfoms 'live' (not seperate tracks)with high definition cameras and it's truly pretty amazing. Clapton lets his voice explore his range in this album, and all of the musicians are phenomenal. You can't go wrong buying this, it never gets old!

OK GUYS, ALL CLAPTON FANS WILL AGREE, THIS ONE REALLY PAYS TRIBUTE TO THE MAN. SESSIONS FOR ROBERT J IS RAW AND UNCUT, MR CLAPTON HOLDS NOTHING BACK. DOYLE,NATHAN,STEVE THERE ALL SO INTUNE. ME AND MR JOHNSON IS A GREAT ALBUM, SESSIONS FOR ROBERT J IS CLAPTONAT HIS BEST AND DESTIN TO BECOME A CLASSIC
