    The last great album from the Replacements. Recommended.

    1987's Pleased To Meet Me is the first Replacememts album without founding member Bob Stinson. Still a GREAT RECORD, but the band just wasn't the same without Bob. Less reckless abandon on the guitar parts and more polish from the Jim Dickinson production.

    The last in The Holy Trinity

    What I love about 'Pleased To Meet Me' are the songs, rather than the concept that the album represents. With each ablum from 1981 to 1987, when this was relased, The Replacements began to grow from a sloppy Minneapolis gartage punk band into the alternative rock harbingers they later became. 'Pleased To Meet Me' is their second major label release and while it doesn't really break any new ground, it still has some of The 'Mats best songs on them. My favorite is 'Alex Chilton'. I decided to buy this used because it's the third time I've owned this album and as much as I want to support Paul and the gang, I also have to eat.

    The Best...

    One of, if not the greatest of the Replacement's albums, or any album, really. Only bested by All for Nothing. If you like the Replacements, check out Dramarama!

    I bought this CD because i wanted to hear their music, but no stores around me sold it. I love the CD.
