Hire Nintendo's famous Italian plumber mascot to be your typing tutor with Mario Teaches Typing. Guide Mario, Luigi or The Princess through three side-scrolling adventures by typing as quickly and as efficiently as you can.<br><br>Mario's Smash Dash takes place in the outside world and is intended for beginners typing from 5 to 12 words per minute. You must race past a series of box and turtle obstacles that block your pathway by typing the corresponding letters that appear on the boxes and turtles.<br><br>Mario's Wet Word Challenge is an underwater adventure intended for intermediate typists. Here you must type words that scroll across the bottom of the screen in order to swim away from pursuing sea creatures and above dangerous clams lurking below.<br><br>Finally, advanced typists should stick with Mario's Tunnel of Doom in which players must type out complete sentences in order to run through tunnels filled with falling blocks and swim through dangerous quicksand. If you manage to complete this level at 50 words per minute, you will be a Mario Graduate.<br><br>In addition to the aforementioned adventures, there is a practice lesson called Mario's Expert Express. Mario's smiling, frowning and sometimes neutral face appears above a piece of "paper" as you type single letters, words and sentences. After each game, Mario will show you the following statistics: keys typed, errors, words per minute, goal WPM, accuracy and lesson time.
