The soundtrack features numerous Dean Martin tunes such as "If You Knew Susie," "On the Sunny Side of the Street," "South of the Border," and "The Glory of Love." In MURDERERS' ROW, Helm is recalled from retirement to rescue Ann-Margret's father, a world-renowned scientist. WRECKING CREW features European landscapes, exotic women, and martial-arts action choreographed by none other Bruce Lee himself, in a near-perfect spy picture. Finally, AMBUSHERS sees secret agent Matt Helm recruited to locate a hijacked American spacecraft, but he has his hands full when he comes up against double-agent Francesca Madeiros, who's as curvaceous as she is criminal.

    Matt Helm Lounge collector set

    For movies made back in the 60's, the transfer quality to DVD is as good as you can expect. The condition of the DVD's I received was pristine, no hammer marks, grit, tongue trails or peanut butter and jelly smears like you might find on a one-time rented DVD. All in all, I feel I got good value by purchasing this used set.

    It's great!

    It takes me way back. These are great bits of Dean Martin film history. He's got a bar in his car, I mean talk about the 60's, and everytime he talks about a woman I think "You Pig." It's awesome just to see what people used to think was hip and cool. also it looks like every other Irwin Allen film, so you know what you're getting ahead of time. There would have been more of these, but the last film was made the year the leading lady Sharon Tate was killed by the Manson Family and Dean just got soured on the whole deal because he wanted her to come back for the next film. I don't really think the premise these films are based on would have survived into the 70's anyway. It's something you gotta see, that's all I can really say.

    Lightweight with lots of fun!

    If you enjoy intrigue with lots of laughs, you will love Matt Helm! I remember watching these movies when I was a child and loving them then. I still do. Lots of fun and tongue-in-cheek comedy.

    Perfect Cheese to go with your Wine

    This is an awesome silly Americanized James Bond. I love this nostalgic look at old comedic spy movies. Dean Martin, aka Matt Helm, is hilarious try to pull off the spy routine. Silly villains and scantily clad bimbos interact with Dean Martin.

    Matt Helm Lounge

    A bit spendy for 50 year old movies, but well packaged set, good quality. Only familiar with the final two (Ambushers and Wrecking Crew). Any fan of Austin Powers should appreciate and like these two at least, saw them as a kid and loved them. Haven't seen the first two (from '66). Dean Martin, beautiful women, cheesy tongue-cheek action and dialogue, cool retro spy farce!
