    Best in price range

    Spending less has gotten me only short-lived units, particularly the plastic clutch surrounding the threaded bits. The clutch on this unit is also plastic, but seems more solid than similar, lower-priced products. Next price option up is more than double the cost of GFW-SPK-SP, so this was the best quality-for-price. Only used on 5 shows yet, but works as promised.

    needs a little more R&D

    the top of the tube is a little too small to fit the speaker. It needs a sleeve to go over it to keep the speaker up straight. I have a piece of cardboard in it now to stop it from wobbling , I might try adding a few layers of electrical tape next to take up the space. A plastic sleeve over the end of the pole would be great.
