    It happened in Brooklyn

    A young Frank Sinatra meets Katherine Grayson, Peter Lawford and Jimmy Durante when he crosses over the Brooklyn Bridge to a school where he is to re-register after being discharged from the army after world war II. Just a delightful film.

    Nice light film.

    How can anyone not enjoy Frank Sinatra, his distinctive singing style is legendary. Durante, what a wonderful clown who was a natural born talent. This is for fans of both entertainers, not a 5 star film due to a hokey script.

    Excellent Family Movie

    This little known movie features such greats as Frank Sinatra, Jimmie Durante, Katheryn Grayson and Peter Lawford in a light hearted Romantic Comedy. Many of these order movies are rarely seen on any of the movie channels and I feel that they are really missing the boat by not showing them. This type of movie is what the movie industry was all about, taking you out of the stress of everyday life and putting you in a great mood if only for a short time. There is a lot of good music in this production. I feel that more people should be buying this type of movie, than today's films which are either, cop movies, sex movies, supposed reality movies and some ridiculous comedy. There are still a few good movies being produced, but not like it used to be in the Golden Age of Hollywood. Today ...

    * * * * *=An excellent XPR service & a TOP notch DVD!!!

    Why I bought it? Simple! I was SO HAPPY when I realized that this flick was available on DVD, so there was not a single minute of hesitation to purchase it! I had been wanting it for SO many years. I LOVE it! Jimmy Durante and Frankie, well now.....what more can you wish for, come classy entertainment? Another favourite of mine. I never was a fan of miss Grayson but, here I like her. Peter Lawford never or seldom made an impression on me but, again, here, for MY liking, he´s OK. A HIGHLY RECOMMENDED DVD!!! Great entertainment, I´d say!
