The ghost hunters are two plumbers who work for Roto-Rooter by day, but at night they trawl the land for unexplained phenomena and reports of the supernatural. Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson are the co-founders of TAPS, The Atlantic Paranormal Society, and they have dedicated themselves to investigating any mystery that suggests otherworldly activity. Although they don't find something in every episode, this collection brings together their most eventful adventures. These include a lighthouse keeper who has passed away but continues to welcome visitors, and a naughty poltergeist who throws children's toys around an attic.

Very Best Of Ghost Hunters-disappointing -not the best quality
The center DVD disc holder was broke when I opened it-was suppose to be brand new so it must have gotten damaged during shipping and I wasn't aware of it until I opened it or I would have returned it. The DVD was more like an introduction to Ghost Hunters. It was not very good at all. It was poorly edited and the cases were less then the BEST of Ghost Hunters. I would not recommend. The regular season episodes was more interesting then this DVD. The early seasons were the BEST with Brian-Donna-Steve-Tango, Dustin ,Grant and Jason. The newer seasons past season 4-5 were not as good. The NEW Ghost Hunters which is on t.v. now has limited new episodes & already showing several repeats-OMG! It is a terrible cast. Only Grant is original-everyone else is new and not interesting at all. ... This DVD was'nt as great as I thought it would be. It only had a couple episodes in it and they were not real good ones. The only extra footage that's in here is the stuff that didn't make the cut for the TV show( really boring stuff that if it appeared in the show most people would have changed the channel). I was dissapointed and I am a big fan of the show. It's not worth it. If you really want to get the best of the show you really just have to sit through the episodes or buy the whole season and watch each one. Another thing about the best of's for this show is that they give little or no background on the significance of the site in which they are investigating. Thats something that is definitely important in developing the episode. You have to know what kind of haunting is ... This DVD was'nt as great as I thought it would be. BEST of Ghost Hunters? I don't think so
I love Ghost Hunters. I've been a faithful fan since the first episode and have nothing but good things to say about it. I realize ghost don't always show up on cue and expect some shows where nothing happens but they did have some much better episodes the first season. This DVD was really not what I expect from them. It's short, boring and just plain waste of time and money. I will be wary of ever buying another Ghost Hunters DVD before reading other peoples reviews first!I love Ghost Hunters. Very Best of Ghost Hunters Vol. 1
I was very disappointed that this CD is not about their 20 top investigations (actual shows) but of their 20 top clips. I am a huge fan of The Ghost Hunters, but money I spent on this CD and also of season 2 was not worth it. I will not purchase the remaining seasons of this title in the future.

not all the scariest moment were there
Still good but buy the whole first season much more worth it. They just showed a few things not all the best moments were there. They missed out on alot and the whole season isn't that much more and you get the same thing. There was comentary from Greg and Jason though
