  • LOts of punches to buy

I bought this book because I have made paper roses in the past and thought it would be a great way to make other flower types. I was a bit disappointed when I received it because you need a lot of really specific punches that I'm not interested in spending the money on at this point, since I don't see any other way that I would use them. There are ten large multi-part punches that punch several shapes at one time. I searched around on the internet and the cheapest I have found them so far is $15.99. Most of the punches are used to make more than one flower, but some flowers take more than one of the punches, so even if you only want to make one of the flowers, you'd probably have to buy more than one of the multi punches. It's almost as if the book is a hundred+ page ...

  • Paper Bouquet by Susan Tierney Cockburn

If you have ever wanted to make 3D paper flowers using paper punchies than Paper Bouquet is a book for you. This book is both a learning book and because each page is in full color it a delight to let your eyes wander through. Forty flowers can be made from the directions in this book. Each flower project has a difficulty level, the names of the punches you will use and how many punchies you will need to create that particular flower. Even if you have no idea what your punch is called just look at the punch shapes guide given for each project. The projects are incredible –imagine making 3D rhododendrons, daffodils and bachelor buttons - from paper! Susan T. Cockburn starts you off with the basics: cardstock, simple tools for your flower making kit and where to apply glue and more. ...

  • lovely book

i bought this book because i work in 3-dimensional paper art. the book is not the scale i work in, but very informative, lovely finished pieces, and easy to follow directions for beginners to advanced crafters alike. The pieces do require lots of punches to create the final pieces. If you do not have a lot of craft punches already i would not recommend buying this book and expecting to jump right in creating flowers.

  • Paper Bouquet - Excellent Reference Book

I love this book. It is a very detailed book. I has many, many colored pictures. You don't have to figure out anything on your own, Susan explains and has pictures to show you exactly what to do. If you are looking for a book to help you make flowers from cardstock, this is the one to buy.
