Unfortunately, incorrect purchase.
My fault: bought what looked like my Uniden Dect6.0 phone base and phone set, but I failed to check the compatible models. I was in error, so for others: check your manual before bidding. It will list what extension sets match your set. I suspect the phone works as well as it looks, but...

Uniden has always made a good product 1 of my extension got crushed, so order this replacement It came quick, looks great BUT no matter what I tried it will not connect to the base.

I have used this phone for about 3 years,this is my second set of phones, the current set I use on another phone line. The Uniden D 1680 Cordless Phone,is an outstanding value! As a home phone it has the basic features one would need. The clarity is outstanding as well as the range of the phone,also being a able to have a speaker phone is an added plus. The replacement battery for the phone is cheap, especially when purchased from an online seller.I have used this phone for about 3 years,this is my second set of phones, the current set I use on another phone line. The Uniden D 1680 Cordless Phone,is an outstanding value! As a home phone it has the basic features one would need. The clarity is outstanding as well as the range of the phone,also being a able to have a speaker phone is an added plus. The best set of Telephones that I have ever bought
This is an excellant phone set for the price. It sounds very clear and is easy to program. For a set of four phones, it works extremely well. I have Majic Jack and you can't tell the differance whether you are talking locally or to a different country. I have a son in Afiganistan and when we talk every week, it sounds like he is right next door. This system is amazing. It have an excellant price point, it was shipped fast and has excellant clarity. This is one of the best purchases that I have ever made on E-Bay. The only thing that I have a problem with is that it thinks that February has 29 days in it and I haven't found out how to correct the date and time. On February 28th is switched from my local time to East Coast time. I am sure it is a simple fix but I haven't had a ... This is an excellant phone set for the price. If you are thinking about a multible phone system this is a product for you. You can have one in the man cave, one in the kids room one in the living room and one in your own bedroom. the intercom will let caller ID lets you know who is calling and you can page the person for who the call is for. You can put the phone into the privicay mode and no other extension can listen to your conversation or you can page any or all phones to relay a message. Compared to other phones that I have had in the past, this phone shines above the others. Also, you only have to program only one phone for the phonebook and it sends all the phonebook numbers to all phones. and if four phones aren't enough, you can add more phones as you need.

I bought the Uniden D1680 Cordless Phone to replace an older model Uniden cordless; I just wanted more features and I got more features and then some. The D1680 phone has a built-in answering machine and is expandable up to 12 handsets. I only need the original base plus one extra handset and I bought another accessory handset to go with the original, so we have 3 handsets total. This model has caller ID, phone number storing capability in its phonebook, caller re-dial, several ring tones, volume control for the voice and for the ring tones, and remote message retrieval, and can be used as a speaker-phone. In short, it has all the features I need and some that are icing on the cake. This phone is definitely worth the money. I like everything it can do and I have not found a downside ...
