    "No Nonsense Jazz Guitar" is a phenomenal value in guitar instruction.

    "No Nonsense Jazz Guitar" by Jimmy Bruno ranks among the best music instruction material I've ever purchased, and I've bought a ton. I haven't mastered even a fraction of its contents in the few weeks I've been working with it, but I am extremely pleased with the substantial and significant progress I've already made. Jimmy Bruno generously shares priceless insights on fingering patterns which have come from his years of experience. He also revises some of the conventional wisdom on pick work. If you're at all interested in jazz guitar, or if you finally want to conquer the guitar fingerboard in the most efficient way, this is a great DVD. This DVD is not a magic wand that will make you a virtuoso overnight. It's enjoyable and not tedious, but the patterns that you're shown must be ...

    Jimmy Bruno No Nonsense Jazz Guitar

    Yes...this guy can play. But a lot of great players can't teach well. Jimmy Bruno is an exception. Absolutely one of the best Hot Licks lessons I have ever seen. Clear, logical approach to the art of jazz guitar. A concise explanation of how to approach position playing and a whole lot more. His ability to simplify complex concepts is one of the strong points of this lesson. A well spent 20 dollars.

    This is the key

    Jimmy bruno has boiled the guitar down to it's essence on this dvd. he is a great teacher and the info he gives is not beyond a patient beginner yet helpfull for anyone. If spend the time on what he suggests your playing will be transformed. he has a fundamental outlook on the guitar and it is presented in a light hearted friendly way. great teacher. great information.I rented this from netflicks and liked it so much that i bought it for myself and my students, workboot www.myspace.com/workboot
