Give your mind a mini-vacation
Listening to music by Andre Rieu can be compared to a mini vacation for me. "Love Songs" on DVD can be watched or just listened to. At home, I can sit back, close my eyes and let my mind wander with the wonderful sounds of this great musician and his orchestra. It is also great to watch the concert with friends after dinner. I was so impressed with this DVD that I later purchased a CD of the same music. Now I can take it with me no matter where I am, whether it be taking a 10 minute break at work or being stuck in rush hour traffic. I have several other Andre Rieu music collections. They are well orchestrated, entertaining and a pleasure to listen to but of them all, this one is MY first choice for relaxing.Listening to music by Andre Rieu can be compared to a mini vacation for me. Poor Sound Quality
I LOVE ANDRE RIEU! But this video is of poor sound quality--sounds like when a teenager is blasting the radio on a car stereo system that can't handle it. Terrible. Also parts of the video are in poor taste. I usually let my two small boys watch these (THEY LOVE THESE VIDEOS! and watch them over and over.) But there is a scantilly clad teenage nymph running around in a see through dress supposedly looking for her lover. In one scene where they are kneeling in front of an alter you can see right through the dress to the outline of her nakedness. Very much in poor taste. Not his usual style. A nice collection of song typical of Andre Rieu
We enjoy his full orchestra arrangements and on this DVD, he had Over the Rainbow an old song, but one we liked.

I'm not sure if it's a knock off or not yet. It looks real, but like other DVDs I bought has a sort of feel of fake production to it. I haven't had the chance to watch the film itself yet. DVD is not used- Thank God. Happy over all with my purchase. Thank you kindly.

Andre Rieu - Love Songs
Because my granddaughter plays the violin, I became interested in an Andre Rieu program aired on PBS on television. I was so intrigued with his playing that I immediately went to eBay to see if I could find Andre's music. The DVD that I found and won the bid for contains the same songs I had heard on the PBS program. Wonderful!!!
