    The Professional's Iron

    I have been employed in the Electronics industry since 1978. In any of those capacities where I was performing solder work on components and PC boards, the Weller P35 was there - supplied by the company for whom I worked. Thus, the iron has an excellent pedigree as far as I am concerned. The mass of the iron itself means that it is a little slower to heat up, however, that same mass means that it maintains the heat when thermal challenges arise. For more delicate printed circuit board work, the P25 is probably a better choice, except for the most experienced hand. The tips (when you have Weller tips) last a very, very long time before needing changed. Simply put, you can go through at least 10 or more of the "Super Store" soldering irons and in the same time, the Weller will still be ...

    Good soldering iron

    I bought this iron to handle small projects. I have used it once and I am happy with the temperature and the results of my first project. I soldered severed wires on a circuit board for a cordless phone.

    Weller WP35 35 watt Soldering Iron

    Weller Soldering Irons are used in most shops I have work in throughout the years. They are considered quality when things need to be soldered. A 30 to 35 watt soldering iron can handle most any job. I bought mine because the price was extremely good for this iron, And some of my irons are getting old an not heating up like the use to, so it is a replacement.

    This Gun Works as it should I've used others that don't work nearly as well that are also rated at 35 Watts I bought this one cuz I misplaced the one I've had for a long time I bought the same one again cuz I liked it

    High Quality

    The iron is balanced when holding. The heater and tip heat quickly. After extended use, the handle remains cool. You can get less expensive irons but the quality isn't as good in my opinion.
