I wish that sellers would list if it is a book club edition or not or show more picture of the book with pages showing. I don't like book club because of the jagged edges on the pages. My preference. Excellent product! One very satified customer !!!!
I'm a vampire chronicles fan, so I started reading the withching series. As any fan of Anne Rice knows the two series tie together in the end of both the vampire chronicles and the withching series. If you aren't a fan already you will be by the end of this book. From page one you are taken into the story, become a part of it. You can read this book independently of the others, but it's infinately better if you read the witching hour- lasher then this novel( you get the series in it's entirety). I bought this because I'm replacing my library. I cannot give this author high enough praise. I would not recomend this book to anyone under 18 due to it's sexual situtations and language, but all are necessary for the plot. Taltos-Third In The Witching Hour Series
This fast read by Anne Rice is third in the witching hour series. In this novel the history of the taltos race reveals a their long, trying existence. While still involving the Mayfair family and yet a new love triangle between a unlikely couple. This book completely finishes the series and I found it to be a quite satisfying read.

Dud ending
Having finished the vampire chronicles and being enticed into the world of the Mayfairs in a few of the vampire novels, I started reading the Mayfair trilogy, excitedly looking forward to the third book, Taltos, hoping to read more about this interesting tribe and their plight. It was a good read, but it seemed like the ending was thrown together. It leaves me wondering if Anne Rice ran out of time and had to wrap up writing the book leaving a few chapters missing from the end. Excellent read
If you like Anne Rice, this is a great book. The third in the trilogy of the Mayfair Witches keeps up the suspense as their lives unfold.
