    Change the default cable box setting

    Works great. The only thing that I had to do was reprogram the "cable" button to work with my cable box, the default was set to another type of cable box. It was VERY easy to do, use the reset code to reset the remote and then program all the devices. A++

    Took some digging to get this working.

    Got this from eplanet2015. Had to do some digging online as this had to be programmed to work with the Comcast Cable box I have (plus the TV of course). The TV was easy, but I had to figure out the cable box situation as it did not come with any instructions that this needed to be done. After about a half-hour of work, I got it to function with the make of cable box I have. I had to find the code online to reprogram the remote and it took some trial and error with different codes until I got the correct one.

    Good Shipping Time

    Programming should be easy, but had to perform a hard reset to factoryl state to get it to recognize the XFinity box. Seems to suggest that it had previously been used, but there is no obvious wear or deficit; so it works for me.

    Better remote than the newer Xfinity one

    Love this old Xfinity remote. Once you find the code online, it's easy to program. Hate the new Xfinity remote. Too hard to find correct buttons in the dark. The old one is much better.
